About Us
We are an Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Holy Ghost Council 4977, which serves the faith communities of St. Theresa, & St. Thomas of Villanova Parishes in Palatine, Illinois. Our members range in age from 18-102 and come from all walks of life, all nationalities and marital statuses. While many members are spouses, children, grandmothers or mothers of Knights of Columbus members, this is not a requirement. We join with the Knights as one family under God, united by faith to serve Church and community. We have numerous fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for the wide variety of charities we support, as well as have guest speakers and fun activities at our monthly meetings. In both 2009 and again in 2010 the Illinois State Council of the Knights of Columbus named us as the Outstanding Ladies Auxiliary. We have since won numerous other awards at the State level. It is our hope that our web site will help you to learn more about who we are and what our ministry does. As of 2014 the formal meetings of the Holy Ghost Ladies Auxiliary have been canceled however we still do meet, as needed, to assist the Holy Ghost Knights of Columbus with their fundraising events. Feel free to email us if you wish to volunteer. Thank you for your interest.
